About New Wave

New Wave is James River’s introductory mixed chorus. This ensemble focuses on the fundamentals of music literacy, notation, and vocal mechanics. Students develop healthy singing habits and proper techniques designed to ensure vocal longevity. Through a diverse repertoire of choral literature, members foster the skills necessary to excel as singers, musicians, and performers.
